Explore The Unfamiliar Provinces Of Northern Thailand

1.Lampang

Lampang, being just a one-hour drive from Chiang Mai, is easily accessible and has various kinds of tourist attractions. 2.Mae Hong Son

3.Nan

4.Tak

With Hot Springs Maesaka, Chor Por Phrawo Shrine, Lan Sang National Park, Bhumibol Dam and Trok Ban Chin among other tourist attractions. You can either fly to Mae Sot, the nearest airport to Tak, travel by bus from Bangkok or by car from Bangkok. Besides the known places, Tak is also renowned for being a host to grand celebrations of popular Thai festivals. 

5.Phitsanulok

Another hidden treasure of Northern Thailand is the historic city of Phitsanulok. Unexplored and unspoilt by tourists, Phitsanulok is a beautiful place to tour when in Northern Thailand. As a tourist, you can visit the Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, Sergeant Major Thawee Folk Museum, Thai Bird Garden and Wat Nang Phaya.
