1. TOURIST VISA FOR SINGLE ENTRY

REQUISITE DOCUMENTS FOR TOURIST VISA
1. Travel Documents and Pictures

1.1 Valid Passport for 6 months from date of entry (with at least 2 empty pages).
1.2 A complete Visa Application form (must be filled in blue ink/typed) with the original signature of the applicant.
1.3 Two recent photographs (not older than 3 months) of applicant Size – 3.5×4.5cm, white background & matt finish, with applicant’s signature on the back.
1.4 Cover letter, typed and sign specifying the purpose of travel, travel dates, address in Thailand. Family name and passport number with relation (if applied with family)
1.5 A photocopy of the return confirmed travel ticket.

2. Proof of Adequate Finance For Individual Tourist

2.1 Bank statement of six months (must be original and attested by the bank) with equivalent minimum
current balance to USD 700 per person or USD 1400 per family.
2.2 Cover letter, typed and signed by a family member who sponsors the trip, and whose name is on the above bank statement along with singed photocopy of passport of the sponsor (in case of submitting the financial proof of the applicant’s sponsorship by a family member)

3. Accommodation

3.1 Proof of hotel/accommodation reservation in Thailand with contact number and address
3.2 If travel in group, must provide a cover letter stating all names with passport numbers, plan of Travel, and place(s) to stay.
3.3 If intended to stay with relatives or friends (Proof of accommodation lease agreement/Tabian Baan), must provide invitation letter along with copy of their ID / passport and in case they are not Thai, must provide their work permit, valid at least six months.

4. TOURIST VISA (MEDICAL TREATMENT)

4.1 Same requirements as above i.e. from point 1 to 3.
4.2 Medical report from local hospital requesting treatment in Thailand.
4.3 Acceptance letter from Thailand’s hospital for treatment of applicant.

5. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS

(below documents are supplementary, while No. 1- 4 are mandatory)
5.1 Evidence of employment and regular/monthly income in India such as Income Tax Returns, Letter of Employment stating salary, Payment Slips, and Business License/Registration, etc.

2. TOURIST VISA FOR MULTIPLE-ENTRY

REQUISITE DOCUMENTS FOR TOURIST VISA (MULTIPLE-ENTRY)
1. Travel Documents and Pictures

1.1 Valid Passport for 6 months from date of entry (with at least 2 empty pages).
1.2 A complete Visa Application form (must be filled in blue ink/typed) with the original signature of the applicant.
1.3 Two recent photographs (not older than 3 months) of applicant Size – 3.5×4.5cm, white background & matt finish, with applicant’s signature on the back.
1.4 A photocopy of the return confirmed travel ticket (At least for first trip)
1.5 Cover letter, typed and sign specifying the purpose of travel, travel dates, address in Thailand. Intended travel Itinerary for six months.
Family name and passport number with relation, If applied with family. (Only father, mother, spouse or children are acceptable)
1.6 Proof of residence in India (for non-Indian passport holders)

2. Proof of Adequate Finance and Occupation For Individual Tourist

2.1 Bank statement of six months (must be original and attested by the bank) with equivalent minimum current balance to 200,000 THB. (For Individual traveler)
For travelling with family required minimum balance of 400,000 THB.
2.2 Evidence of employment and regular/monthly income in India including Income Tax Returns,Letter of Employment stating salary, Payment Slips, VAT/Services Tax Registration Certificate, and Business License/Registration where applicable.

3. Accommodation

3.1 Proof of hotel/accommodation reservation in Thailand with contact number and address. (For at least first trip)
3.2 If travel in group, must provide a cover letter stating all names with passport numbers, plan of Travel, and place(s) to stay.
3.3 If intended to stay with relatives or friends, must provide invitation letter along with copy of their ID / passport and in case they are not Thai, must provide their work permit, valid visa at least six months.

Please Note

Validity of the visa denotes the time period during which the traveler can use the visa. Period of stay denotes the amount of time the traveler can stay in Thailand
Visa Process takes at least 5 working days from the date when the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai receives all required documents and fees
The above guidelines are defined by Royal Thai Consulate General, Mumbai and must be strictly followed. Visa Information and Application Centre will not accept visa applications which do not meet above specified guidelines. The documents must be arranged in the order given above.
Royal Thai Consulate-General, Mumbai reserves the right to ask for a Personal Interview or Additional Documents.
The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai maintains full and exclusive competence for visa application and granting process.

3. VISA ON ARRIVAL (VOA)

2.1 ELGIBLE APPLICANT:
– Single entry validity of up to 15 days and cannot be extended. Passport should hold validity of minimum 6 months from the date of expiration

2.2 DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
-Complete Application Form
-Photograph (4x6cm)
-Sufficient Funding of THB 10,000 per person and THB 40,000 per family
-Confirmed return ticket within 15 days
-RT-PCR Negative certificate taken less than 72 hrs before departure.
Health insurance policy with a minimum coverage of USD 20,000 stating clearly covering treatment and medical expenses related to COVID-19 during stay in Thailand.

4. E-Visa On Arrival (E-VOA)

Thailand Visa on Arrival (VOA) which enables you to apply online, through Internet, to make your trip happen to Thailand than ever, all you need to do is to complete the online application form via www.immigration.go.th
For passengers who would like to apply for Visa on Arrival to travel in Thailand, there are two service counters provided by Suvarnabhumi airport before reaching to the Immigration on 2nd level. The details and required documents are listed as follows:

Qualification required for visa on arrival

The Visa on Arrival must be used only on the date of issue
• Must be the citizens of nationalities accordance with Ministry of Interior’s announcement
• Passport must be genuine and over 30 days validity.
• Purpose of touring not more than 15 days.
• Must have confirmed return ticket within 15 days.
• Must notify the address In Thailand that can be verified.
• Not under section 12 Immigration Act B.E.2522 (A.D.1979)
• Visa fee in Thai currency only (Cash)/Non-refundable
• Having appropriate means of living. (10,000 Baht/person, 20,000 Baht/family)

Passport holders of the following countries/territories may apply for Visa on Arrival.

After Apply Visa on Arrival Application Online.

• Once an application has been completed by the applicant. Applicant will get Transaction Reference Number (TRN).
• Please print it out and bring it along when you travel to THAILAND to get Visa on Arrival stamped on your passport.
