1. Pattaya – Siam Country Club (They have 3 courses i.e Old, Plantation & Waterside)  (Adding a 4th one, Rolling Hills)

Address : 50, Pong, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri 20150, Thailand
Starting off the list is the Siam Country Club which is replete with 4 beautiful courses, each covering a vast expanse and unique terrain.

The first of the 3 courses is the Old Course
Address : 50, Pong, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri 20150, Thailand
Set in the party capital Pattaya that continues to set the standard for Golf courses in Thailand. The wonderfully matured parkland course, the Old Course hosts the LPGA Honda Classic each year, thus attracting the best names in the Women’s Golf circuit. A series of lakes and creeks by the holes means that you need to drive with accuracy to be able to score well. Else numerous fairway bunkers await your wayward drive. The 9th hole is a fantastic finish in the shadow of Buddha.

Coming in next and boasting a 27 golf-hole course is the Siam Country Club Pattaya Plantation.
The unique, “plantation”, name of this course was dubbed in the honor of the historic Sugar Cane, Tapioca, and Pineapple plantations. Located roughly 4km from the Old Course, the Plantation course is a major draw and hosts quite a few events. Exactly one year after opening in 2008, it served as site of the LPGA Thailand, won by world No.1 Lorena Ochoa

The next course, Siam Country Club Pattaya Waterside was designed by IMG Golf Course Design, one of the world’s most renowned golf course architects. It was designed with strict

emphasis on environment care. Serene & natural esthetic beauty, challenging terrain and ambience of friendly play were also the core fundamentals of the Waterside design and is a primary element which sets  it apart from the famous Old Course and Plantation.

The fourth & final course, Siam Country Club Pattaya Rolling Hills, follows the similar layout of the other 3 courses, however, it manages to distinguish itself just the same, as it’s design perfectly amalgamates the traditional elements with modern course layouts. The layout is a treat for veterans and rookies alike with lush stunning visuals of casuarina trees, marsh lands, lotus pools, and lakes encapsulating the course.  The most challenging, and hence the most popular hole is the No. 15 hole, also dubbed as the “Wall of Death”, which lies beyond an uphill, and double zig-zagged fairway guarded by a 19-foot pit bunker.  Any challengers to ace the wall of death are welcome to try!

2. Hua Hin – Black Mountain Golf Club

565 Moo7, Nong Hieng Road, Hin LekFai, Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan 77110
Having hosted the Royal Trophy and the Thailand Classic, the Black Mountain Golf Club has comfortably made its name as the most high-profile course right now in Thailand. Some of the biggest names in Golf came calling for the Thailand Classic as it was co-sanctioned by the Asian and European Tour, and were pleasantly surprised by the lush greens that are continually tinkered with to enhance the play at all turns. Natural streams have been incorporated into the design, with an extra nine holes coming up soon. Be prepared for the time of your life with fantastic caddies by your side as you relish the holes as also the excellent clubhouse fare.

3. Koh Samui – Santiburi Samui Country Club

12/12 Moo 1, Maenam Beach, Koh Samui,

Surat Thani 84330 Thailand

The only 18-hole course in Koh Samui is designed by acclaimed architect Pirapon Namatra and is a difficult one at that. It has a back nine that is especially challenging what with the many blind tee shots to narrow fairways lined by jungles. You will need to find your way amidst dramatic elevation changes in a course that meanders across foothills set amidst a triumvirate of countryside, sea, and islands beyond. It is extremely difficult to score high unless you pace your shots carefully. After a day of overwhelming ardent walking, you get to enjoy a 360-degree view of the course, the beach, and the sea, sitting comfortably in the clubhouse.

4. Bangkok – Alpine Golf Sports Club

99 M.9 Bangkhan-Sathaneevithayu Road, Klong 5, Klong Luang, Pathumthani 12120 Thailand

The concrete of the city makes way for the rustic, rural countryside as you approach the Alpine Golf Club with the course itself being a true specimen of design aesthetics – lush paradise dotted with palms. Heavily contoured greens make for a tricky course – slick and dangerous to combat even in the Monsoons. This course is no doubt a marvellous, tropical gem that provides for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
